League Details

 

FORMAT
  • 11-on-11 coed (At least 4 women on the field at all times with everyone present in the kicking order)
  • 7 inning games (or 60 minute time limit - no mercy rule)
  • 7 regular season games (50% of teams qualify for the playoffs)

SCHEDULE AT A GLANCE

The official game schedule does not come out until registration is over, but here is a sneak peak at what you can expect:

  • Teams play once a week
  • The time your team plays will vary each week. We try our best to create a balanced schedule for all teams based on the permits we receive
  • Regular Season games will begin mid-March

GAME LOCATIONS
Due to the work being done on Mama Johnson field this season all games will take place at Hoboken High School's football field (JFK Stadium) located on 10th and Jefferson in Hoboken.

Please be aware that game times, locations and dates mentioned above are a very good guideline, but may change slightly.

LEVELS OF PLAY
  • PLAYER - If there was a movie about intramural kickball you'd be the star.
  • SORTA PLAYER - Still good athletes but not as competitive as the Player level division.
  • CASUAL - Average athletes looking for less competitive and more soical atmosphere
  • EXTREMELY CASUAL - This is the pure fun division. It's for you if you're looking more for the social than the competition or consider yourself a beginner at the organized game.

ZogSports will try to accommodate all team and individual player requests for Level of Play, but cannot guarantee all requests. We will not place an individual player on a team with other people that registered more than one level (above or below) his/her registration level. In order to create the best possible experience for the whole league ZogSports will place returning teams in the division we feel most appropriate.
